The women ditch the classic synchronized swimming song and opted for something that would really wake the judges up! So they performed to Led Zeppelin’s classic «Stairway To Heaven.»
Any devoted Led Zeppelin fan can attest that the song is melodic and graceful at first, but it quickly builds to an electric crescendo. This synchronized swimming team was able to keep up with the music step of the way.
As the gentle intro played on, they pirouetted in unison and hypnotized everyone with their grace. But as soon as the drums began to pound and the guitar started to wail over the loudspeakers, these athletes were flipping like acrobats and splashing in the water like full-blown headbangers!
It was clear to see that the crowd loved every moment. The second the ladies finished, the entire arena erupted with applause and cheers!
