12-Year-Old Sets Up Camera Next To Window Box, Then Captures An Entire Family Of Owls On Tape

bez-imeni-1

When Alessondra Click was just 6 years old, an unexpected visitor appeared at her window in Oklahoma City. Little did she know, this guest would change the course of her day-to-day life for years to come.

An owl showed up and made a home for his own family right in her window box. The young girl named the owls “The Tigers,” and took an instant interest in them.

Alessondra’s mom, Deziray, encouraged her daughter to cultivate her interest in these avian friends. The family set up a camera to look over the nest at all hours of the day.

They even put the live stream online for anyone around the world to watch. To this day, about 9 million folks have tuned in to watch the little owl family.

Alessondra has even become quite the owl expert in the six years that she’s been studying this family.

This year, two owls hatched and the family has been doing well. However, for another owl in a different part of Oklahoma, it was a different story.

That poor baby owl was displaced from its nest, and owl rescuers knew it wouldn’t be able to be raised by his own parents or return to the wild.

They brought the baby to the Clicks to rectify the situation, and something truly amazing happened. Luckily, it was all caught on camera!
