Two years after the world learned that Josh Duggar had sexually molested his younger sisters as a teen, four of the Duggar sisters are looking for revenge in the scandal.

According to TMZ, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, and Joy Duggar have all filed a lawsuit against the Springdale, Arkansas police over police documents that were suddenly leaked in 2015.

Because all four sisters were underage when the events occurred, the lawsuit alleges that only police officers and child services officials had the right to view the documents, which were reportedly filed in 2006.

According to the lawsuit, the sisters also allege that In Touch magazine filed a Freedom of Information Act request that resulted in as many as eight stories being released about what happened all those years ago.

Under Arkansas state law, according to the documents, releasing a child sex abuse victim’s name to the public is prohibited by authorities.

All four sisters are also reportedly suing In Touch magazine for releasing specific information about the investigation.

Jessa first opened up about the scandal while appearing on The Kelly File when the drama unfolded two years ago.

«It was very wrong. I’m not going to justify anything that he did or say it was ok, not permissible, but I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying. I’m like that is so overboard and a lie really, I mean people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this because I was one of the victims. So I can speak out and I can say this and set the record straight here,” Jessa said at the time.

«In Josh’s case, he was a boy, a young boy in puberty and a little too curious about girls. And that got him into to some trouble. And he made some bad choices, but really the extent of it was mild, inappropriate touching, on fully clothed victims, most of it while girls were sleeping,» she added.

«I was scared. I [was] sad because this was my older brother, who I love a lot, and so it’s like, conflicting,» Jill interjected during the interview.

Meanwhile, Josh also released his own brief statement addressing the allegations.

«Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my father and friends,” he told Liked Video after the bombshell reports came to light.
