No one could have predicted that this sweet little 5-year-old Sophie Fatu who stepped in front of the microphone would choose such an old-time song.

Rather than opting for pop theme or cartoon she decided on “Fly Me to the Moon” by much loved Frank Sinatra.

The version of “Fly Me to the Moon,” is actually a song with a much history despite it being largely asscoiated with Frank SInatra.

Initally it was first written in 1954 by a man called Bart Howard.

The original collection of lyrics was actually called “In Other Words.”

After its creation, Kaye Ballard also shared a version of the original.

Across the country in jazz clubs it gained immediate attention.

Another talented performer named Frank Sinatra felt obliged to attempt it himself when he heard the song.

Within months of releasing his own version of “Fly Me to the Moon,” it rose to the top of the charts. It remains one of his most popular releases to this day.
