Kelly and Scott Corsetti welcomed their third child, who was conceived and delivered naturally. However, the lucky couple had no idea their new baby boy would be making the news.

Baby Valentino Francisco Corsetti is believed to be the largest baby ever born at Sutter Davis Hospital in Northern California.

The little big guy was born weighing 13 pounds, 11 ounces. Kelly knew she had given birth to a big baby, but then she saw the look on her sister-in-law’s face after she put him on the scale.

“When we put him on the scale and I saw the look on my sister-in-law’s face and she said 13 pounds, 11 ounces, I was pretty shocked,” she told CBS.

Dr. William Gilbert, who works at the hospital, said Valentino is in the 99th percentile for national birth weights and the second largest newborn he’s seen in 30 years.

“She was all belly, but we had no idea he would be that big,” said sister-in-law Tiffany Allen. “This baby is like a celebrity here.”

Kelly’s second child, Giovanni, was also above average at 10 pounds, 14 ounces.

“Kelly has proven that she can birth larger babies,” Tiffany joked.

Kelly said her pregnancy was ordinary, that she gave birth pretty quick despite Valentino’s large size, and that there were no complications.

“I’m going to be taking two years off and then we’ll talk,” she said of her next pregnancy.
