The world of Twitter went absolutely nuts after a user, @meagnacarta shared this photo of Michelle Obama rocking her natural hair in a low puff and sporting a grey polka dot headband.
While it was not clear when the photo was taken or where the ex-FLOTUS was, it did not stop internet users from having a huge fit.
Many people were excited by the photos, saying they had been waiting for this moment for years and others were simply awed by how gorgeous her skin looked in the photo.

To a lot of people, going natural is her way of her embracing her roots and encouraging more people to do the same. It served as an inspiration and we have to admit, she looked pretty darn gorgeous doing it.

According to reports, Obama’s hair stylist, Johnny Wright said Obama went natural for many years. She added that mostly, she preferred the looks for when she went on vacation.
Since leaving the White House in January, Obama has mostly been keeping a low profile. She made some surprise visits to students in Washington D.C schools, signed a huge book deal with Penguin Randomhouse and mainly just relaxing by visiting museums and restaurants.
She sure earned her downtime. Kudos to her.
