Veteran And Wife Fall Asleep Freezing Every Night, Choke Up When They See Tiny Home Before Them

bez-imeni-1

Eddie and Cindy Browning were going through a very tough time. The Navy veteran and his wife lived in a small camper that needed repairs. They had been freezing every single night but didn’t have the means to change their situation.

Then a group of selfless students from Elm Street Elementary in Rome, Georgia, stepped up.

In the video below, posted on March 6, 2017, a little boy explains, “We made a little tiny house… and it became a big tiny house!”

The Elm Street students had been planning on building a tiny home and giving it away as a charity project, but they ran into trouble while trying to find a legal place to put it.

Luckily, lots of donors and kind members of the community wanted to help their dream mission become a reality.

The Brownings were brought to a tiny home festival, where they could check out a bunch of small-scale households on display. Then they were told that one of the homes was built for them.

The students’ tiny home was taken and added to another tiny home as a bedroom addition. The students had accomplished their goal and were able to see Eddie and Cindy’s reaction to all their hard work.

“Couldn’t believe it,” Cindy says. “It’s an answered prayer.” Eddie chokes up, realizing that a group of kids he’d never met did something so meaningful for him and his wife.
