We’ve Seen Many Embarrassing Game Show Answers, But This Might Be The Worst In TV History

bez-imeni-1

You have to think quick on your feet when you’re playing one of the Wheel of Fortune toss up puzzles. As the time ticks by, letter by letter pops up on the board slowly revealing the complete puzzle. The contestants are supposed to buzz in and guess the answer when they think they know it. While often these puzzles are challenging, the fail the couple on the left makes is horribly hilarious. Watch the clip below to see how bad her answer is. Even Pat Sajak is forced to say something afterward.
With the subject of the puzzle, “Living Thing,” the contestants minds were racing as they tried to figure out what the puzzle could be revealing.

But as the letters began to reveal themselves, the couple on the left thought they knew the answer.

When the woman buzzed in, she looked again at the puzzle and questioned her ability to know the answer.

The board listed “__O__EYS__CK __E B__S__” in two different words.

Melinda hesitates for a moment and then blurts out “POPSICLE BIKE!”

Pat Sajak tells her it is not correct and then shakes his head at the silly reply.

While the correct answer was “honeysuckle bush,” the crowd clearly preferred Melinda’s ludicrous answer. It was not correct, but people began thinking about bikes shaped like popsicles, or a popsicle delivery service done on a bicycle.
Clearly, a popsicle bike is something Melinda had experienced at some point in her life.

People quickly jumped on social media to laugh at the hilarious answer. Here were some thoughts about the response:

“DID SHE JUST SAY POPSICLE BIKE?!?!?!?!?”

“I don’t know what a POPSICLE BIKE is but I want one. #WheelOfFortune”

“This chick just guessed “popsicle bike” for a Living Thing on @WheelofFortune Pat Sajek should have gave it 2 her anyway”

“I made the mistake once to ride a popsicle bike over my trusty mongoose. Got myself into a real sticky situation. #popsiclebike”

Because her answer was so hilariously bad, Jimmy Kimmel invited him onto his talk show to discuss the major national television fail.

Melinda’s bad answer is hardly the first time someone said something ridiculous on Wheel of Fortune or Family Feud for that matter.
But a few months ago, a young man was asked to solve a puzzle with only one missing letter. The board read: “A Streetcar Na__ed Desire.” While the famous play and movie was at the forefront of most viewers’ minds, the young player was busy thinking about sex. His answer made America laugh. He blurted out: “A Streetcar Naked Desire.”

You have to be quick when playing these game shows. If you’re not, you may lose a prize that should be yours. But if you say something without thinking it through, you’re bound to make a fool of yourself on national television. Like Melinda “popsicle bike” lady, her bad Wheel of Fortune answer will live in infamy.

What do you think about her silly response?
