Often times, the bond between a dog and his owner is so great that one will do anything for the other.
This is the case of a homeless man named Patrick. He loved his dog very much and he is doing everything within his power to make sure he is reunited with his pet. Even if that meant begging on the streets.
Patrick was spotted at a Walmart parking lot by a woman named Wilma Price. Wilma noticed Patrick begging for money but she was even more surprised when she found out why when she read his sign.
The thing was, Patrick was just released from jail where he spent two days for trespassing. During that time, his dog was taking to a pound and he needed $120 to get him out.
Price was so touched by this homeless man who was obviously putting his dog’s needs over his, that she resolved to help him. She started to request for donations and now, Patrick has reunited with his dog.
Here is what Price said about the experience, “Wow what a day today has been. […] I run through Walmart parking lot and I see a homeless man sitting on the side of the road and the sign says ‘my dog is in the pound help’. Of course what do I do I’ve seen every sign in the world except that one, as seen ‘I need a beer,’ ‘lost my job need help’ I could go on forever but never this sign.”
Price talked about how she was able to contact as many people as she could to get donations. When Patrick was reunited with his dog, there were tears in his eyes. It was so obvious that this meant a great deal to him.
