Hummingbirds are one of nature’s most amazing creatures. They can flap their wings at an astounding rate of 10-15 times per second, hover like a Harrier jet, and are the only bird species that have the ability to fly backwards. Because they move at such lightning-fast speeds, you could blink and miss them. Most of us only get a sense that we were in the presence of one of these magical birds. If you’ve ever seen one in person, consider yourself lucky.
If you have a hummingbird feeder, you might spot one or two stop by for a quick drink of sugar water. However, they’re not loyal by any means and are always in search of the next sweet treat, which means they’ll disappear before you know it! But, have you ever wondered what hummingbirds do when they’re not eating — which, by the way, seems to be all the time? Well, just like all birds, they love to take baths. Are you ready for a hummingbird pool party? Just wait until you see this one-of-a-kind encounter!
Hummingbirds usually fly solo, but this incredible footage has 30 of them gathered together! I’ve never seen this many hummingbirds in one place before! Actually, until now, I don’t think anyone ever has. It’s such a delight to watch these guys frolic and play like happy little children. Check out the video below to see the stunning footage. Wow! This is so mesmerizing…I think I just felt my blood pressure drop by a few points. This is much better than watching a fireplace. What do you think?
