4-year-old walks onto big stage alone. In no time tackles classic song leaving mouths wide open

bez-imeni-1

Singing a cover of a well-known classic can either make or break a budding music career. Even if the singer has the best voice in the world, no one will ever want to hear another peep out of them if they manage to ruin everyone’s favorite song.

When four-year-old Sophie Fatu stepped on stage to perform a cover of Frank Sinatra’s «My Way,» she probably didn’t realize she was actually stepping into some mighty big shoes. But, this little cutie wasn’t shy about her ability to entertain.

It turns out that she had absolutely nothing to worry about! This pint-sized vocal powerhouse is absolutely adorable as she stunningly sings Ol’ Blue Eye’s famous and well loved song.

When the red satin curtains open up and sweet little Sophie walks into view, it feels like you’re about to go back in time and experience old Hollywood glamour. It’s hard not to instantly fall in love with her soft brown curls, gorgeous pink dress, and totally captivating smile.

But, if you’re totally immune to her cuteness, then this adorable songstress will almost certainly steal your heart the moment she opens up her mouth and starts belting out the lyrics. Awww, this precious angel has an amazing voice!

Mom Victoria Fatu is a classical concert pianist and singer herself, so it’s no wonder that this cutie pie is so good at what she does — she was destined for greatness! In fact, this tiny jazz sensation skipped the normal kiddie songbook altogether and instead of singing «Old MacDonald Had A Farm» she loves to sing anything and everything by Frank Sinatra.

As she’s singing, her adorable little four-year-old voice surprisingly enunciates most of the words that really are beautiful lyrics. It’s quite the oxymoron to have such a young child singing a song that ushers in the end of a singer’s career.

The lyrics include such sorrowful verses as: «I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve traveled each and every highway. But more, much more than this … I did it my way. Regrets, I’ve had a few. But then again, too few to mention I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption.»

Frank’s version of «My Way» spent 75 weeks in the UK Top 40, a record that still stands. Even Elvis recorded his version of this song as did Paul Anka who penned the original version.
