That’s where this middle schooler found himself after his cymbal broke toward the end of a performance of our national anthem. In a display of patriotism, not to mention courageous smoothness, he calmly assesses the situation, lays down the remaining cymbal and salutes along with everyone else. It was first posted to Reddit.
