Adoption Dilemma: A Shelter Dog Refused To Leave Without Her Best Friend

bez-imeni-1

Lucy and Sully are two dogs who prove, there are no barriers for a true friendship. The puppies had different beginnings, but they both ended up at the same shelter. Once they met each other, Lucy and Sully became literally inseparable. Everything they did, they did it together. Until one day, a woman decided to adopt Lucy.

Alaina Brinton saw the picture of Lucy and decided to meet the dog. When she called to the shelter, she learned that Lucy had a pal. Shelter workers suggested she came and saw the second puppy as well.

Likely for Sully and Lucy, Alaina immediately fell in love with both dogs. Plus, the furry buddies made it clear that they were not going anywhere, unless they were going together. So, without second-guessing her decision, the woman took both dogs home.

When they arrived, the new owner of the two shelter dogs realized just how much Lucy and Sully needed each other. The pets were helping each other accommodate to the new environment.

The most amazing thing, however, is that now, nearly seven years later, Lucy and Sully are just as inseparable as they were at the shelter. They still do everything, from napping and eating to playing, together. And when Lucy, who is a bit older than Sully, doesn’t want to run around or play anymore, her pal makes sure she is all right and never goes too far away from her.

These two dogs supported each other and stood side by side since the day they’ve met. They prove once more that you can survive through everything when your best friend is there for you.
