Meet Bordalo II, a Portuguese artist who creates animal sculptures out of materials found in junk yards and abandoned factories. Through his art, Bordalo II hopes to spread the message about humanity’s endless wastefulness, depicting nature, represented by animals, out of materials that threaten it. His idea is to visualize environmental destruction and make people realize that their everyday routine sometimes consumes too many resources too fast and turns them into trash, waste, and pollution.
