Despite all terror and panic during the Manchester attack, there was room for kindness and support.
Paula Robinson, an ordinary woman, is being hailed a true hero after she rushed to help more than 50 children after the explosion. The 48-year-old woman and her husband were at Victoria train station not far from the Arena when something horrible happened.
The couple felt the blast and watched as screaming teenagers started to run from the building. Understandably, the children were in panic.
Paula decided to help. She led the teenagers to a nearby hotel and shared her telephone number on Facebook, so parents could contact her and find their children.
The woman wrote on her Facebook page:“We have got about 50 kids with us waiting to be picked up, they are safe. We will look after them.” She added: “Please repost for any parents with children at MEN we have taken as many kids as we can to Holiday Inn, we will keep them safe and stay with them.“
Now people on social media show their gratitude for this incredibly selfless act.
Paula deserves our respect. Share this story with all your friends to let people know about the amazing woman.
