The oldest child of the family has already turned 27, while the youngest is only one month old. However, the Reckfords don‘t intend to stop making babies – their biggest dream is to have 20 kids.
Sue Reckford, the mother of the biggest number of children in the whole UK, has known her husband Noel since she was a teenager. Sue got pregnant at the age of 14, but neither she nor her lover were thinking of getting rid of the baby. By the way, both Sue and Noel were raised in the adoptive families.
The couple had a son, but they could get married only four years after his birth of the child. Soon after the wedding, the couple had a surprise — Sue became pregnant for the second time, and after nine months she had a daughter, Sophie.
Today, Sue and Noel could have had 20 children, but in the summer of 2014, the tragedy happened in the family – in the 23rd week of her pregnancy, the woman lost her son.
The multi-child family is quite wealthy thanks to the family business.
Noel Reckford runs his own bakery, well known in their city for delicious scones and cakes. The father works in the bakery from 5 am to 6 pm daily. Older children are actively helping their dad in his business. Sue is busy all day caring for the children. The mother has to load the washing machine nine times a day so her sons and daughters can wear clean clothes. In an interview, the couple said they spend more than 43 thousand dollars a year to keep their children.
