We all know that our world is divided between the tame and the wild, and these parts don’t usually mix with each other, but sometimes it happens. In this case, such encounter had a happy ending, and people even described it as a real miracle.
This story started in Ethiopia, where kidnapping is a sad, but standard practice. The 12-year-old girl from Addis Ababa was snatched by several men. Her family began searching everywhere and contacted the police, but their efforts were in vain. The child had been missing for more than a week. However, the things took an unexpected turn.
The girl was finally found, but her kidnappers were nowhere to be seen! She was rescued by three lions, who were standing guard over the helpless kid.
A wildlife expert believes that the wild animals heard the girl’s cries and rushed to help. He said: “A young girl whimpering could be mistaken for the mewing sound from a lion cub, which in turn could explain why they didn’t eat her”.
The girl was taken to a local hospital to treat her injuries after the abduction, but she was alive! The lions literally saved her life!
