Crossing The World’s Longest Pedestrian Suspension Bridge Takes Only 10 Minutes!

bez-imeni-1

Switzerland has now officially become a home to the longest suspension bridge in the world!

Charles Kuonen is said to be 1621 feet across and 279 feet high. The bridge makes it possible to cross a valley between Zermatt and Grächen in 10 minutes, instead of a 4-hour stroll.

However, if you are afraid of heights, we would strongly recommend you not to take that 4-hour walk across the valley. The construction’s floor is grated metal. See where we’re going? You’ll be able to see what’s underneath you. Zermatt Tourism also warns that people who easily experience vertigo should avoid this suspension bridge.

Watch this video to find out more about this unique construction and let us know what you think of it.
