The photo of this cute fluffy dog blew the Internet and it keeps being reposted. People believe it is an actual baby bear that was mistaken for a dog and brought into a dog shelter. Actually, it’s the other way around.
This is a female dog called Bounce, she is a Pomeranian mix. And all this massive confusion is the fault of the Dog Spot employee Ryan Horn, who sent the photo to his friends, accompanied by an innocent joke “Somebody brought this bear into doggie day care.” One of those friends decided to post it on the Internet with the same text and with no additional explanation. And before you know it, thousands of people were convinced this was true.
Meanwhile, the dog owner, Elizabeth Maguyon, had no idea that her pet became an Internet sensation. She and her parents were on vacation at that time and they had to leave Bounce at the Dog Spot because the hotel didn’t allow pets.
The Maguyons were not left in the dark for long because some of the family friends had spotted Bounce on the Internet and shared this information with them.
Elizabeth confessed that Bounce not only resembles a bear in her appearance but in her behavior as well. The dog loves to sleep and doesn’t even bark that often. And the girl’s mother believes Bounce resembles the famous bear character Paddington, which were my thoughts exactly when I saw the photo of this cute ball of fur.
