Dad Rushes To Daughter When She Goes Into Labor, Then Hears That Her Twin Is Having Her Baby Too

Twin sisters Melissa Rase and Melinda Cannon say that they didn’t plan the way their pregnancies turned out, but their story is so special and unique that it’s hard to believe that they weren’t!

The two are very close: one will know when the other is feeling “off” for example, as many sets of twins report.

However, they never guessed that they would get pregnant around the same time. The two found out that their due dates were just two weeks apart!

Two weeks sounds like a sufficient amount of time to avoid an overlap in births, but they were wrong: Melinda planned to be induced a week ahead. Then, just a day before her baby was to be born, her sister Melissa revealed that her doctor said that she would have to give birth that day.

It’s a coincidence that’s hard to imagine, and even less so for the sisters’ family, especially their parents! Their dad says that he and his wife had to flip a coin to see who would go where, as the moms did not give birth in the same city.

Cousins Hattie Mae and Crew Madden ended up being born just two hours apart.

Melissa and Melinda plan on spending their maternity leave in one another’s company. They know that their babies will always have one another’s backs, just like they do.

Please SHARE if you were blown away by the odds these sisters beat by giving birth on the same day!
