Every love story is utterly unique. But these two are more than that! Lora and Nathan were born with a congenital dwarfism. They have different forms of this illness: Lora is suffering from achondroplasia — a congenital anomaly, that is a result of gene mutation in the growth hormone receptor, while Nathan’s diagnosis is pseudoachondroplasia. Both of the illnesses are hereditary.
They met on a shooting of “Snowhite” film, playing gnomes and fell in love at first sight.
When the couple decided to marry, they found out about Laura’s pregnancy, so they decided delayed the wedding.
The couple was immensely happy about the baby. But the doctors told them that it would be safer to abort the baby because the child will inevitably inherit his parent’s illnesses and wouldn’t be able to live more than several days after birth.
But when Lora saw her baby on the ultrasound, she knew that she could never give it up. The entire hospital was in shock, when the baby Nathan-junior was still breathing several hours after birth.
Wonders never ended, as the little one was still alive several days, months and years later! Despite his small stature, Nathan-junior isn’t giving up anytime soon.
Recently, young parent finally managed to have their wedding! And guess who carried bride’s gown and held their rings? Their baby boy!
