When some people get married and agree to love each other till death does them part, they don’t really pay too much attention to it. But not Duane Chapman.

The reality TV star announced that he would always be there for his wife, Beth Chapman, who he met in 1986 and married in 2006.

The Bounty Hunter added that, considering his wife’s health condition, their wedding vows were now more important than ever, as reported by Page Six.

In September, Beth was diagnosed with a stage two throat cancer, and the couple hasn’t had an easy time ever since. But, other than love, there is something that keeps them together, according to her husband.

Duane, or Dog, as he is commonly known as, has come to public to comment on his wife’s illness and how important it is for him to be by her side, especially now that she is so fragile.

The 64-year-old told People that when they made the pledge eleven years ago, in which they promised to love each other in sickness and in health, they didn’t do it lightly. They knew exactly what they were getting themselves into.

He promised Beth that he would love her forever, no matter what. Now, with his wife in a really terrible place, the loving husband announced that he would take his oath more seriously than before.

In October, the Bounty Hunter revealed that his wife’s pain level was a nine out of ten. But, despite the constant pain that she was in, Beth was still in good spirits and smiling as often as possible.

Angie England I love you beth!!! Been watching you guys since day 1!! You are an inspiration to women everywhere!!! Hope you kick cancers ass!

Amy Daniello I lov u Beth !!! My moms going through the same thing !! I know u will both be fine !!! Strong ladies !! Praying for you and Dog

According to Blast, she had to undergo surgery to remove a plum-sized tumor from her neck, which was around the same time that the couple’s loving dog, Delilah, passed away, leaving them drowning in sorrow.

Duane shared that, because of the constant pain that his wife had to endure on a daily basis, he wouldn’t tell her whenever his back hurt because it was nothing compared to what she had been going through. He also took the opportunity to ask their fans to pray for Beth.

The Chapmans have preached about the importance of early detection, considering it to be crucial to prevent bigger problems, and agree that a healthy diet could prevent the body from becoming susceptible to illness, as reported by Page Six.
