Ian Sandefer was horrified when returned home and discovered his house was burning. Heartless flames swallowed the building, with two kids inside.
Father, who went to buy his children breakfast was about to ran inside when someone grabbed his hand. That ‘someone’ was Chris Poe, Iraq veteran.
Chris said only five words: “Your kids are already out!” Those words were the best words the dad ever heard.
It turned out, the veteran was blocks away when he saw the smoke. Chris went in the burning house, he found there 14-year-old Hailey and 8-year-old Mason. The serviceman put himself at risk to save people he never met.
