Randy Wagner, scared about the floods about to hit Rosharon, Texas, decided to protect his home.
What did Randy do? This man researched online how he could protect his house against floods and discovered a system which involved constructing a containment barrier around the space he wished to protect.
With the 400 feet of plastic, Randy built a barrier which held the water back and didn’t allow it to reach the house. This kind of wall rose 30 feet.
When his neighbors saw him building the barrier, they all thought Randy had gone crazy; but when the floods arrived it seemed he was the only wise one.
Randy spent $8,300 on the installation process, but he saved $150,000 in damages and house repairs.
