Mel Gibson was the definition of a movie star in the ’80s and ’90s. He was an action hero, he was an Academy Award–winning director, and he was on top of the world. After a lull in the 2000s, Mel is having a comeback. His film Hacksaw Ridge was just nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture, and Mel scored a nom for himself for Best Director. It’s clear that Mel is focused on his career, but he’s also every bit of a family man. Here is what all of his kids look like now!
Mel Gibson met his wife Robyn Moore back in the late ’70s after filming Mad Max in Australia.
At the time, Mel wasn’t a big movie star and Robyn was a dental nurse. They were married on June 7, 1980. Together they have seven children: Hannah, Edward, Christian, William, Louis, Milo, and Thomas.
Unfortunately, Robyn and Mel divorced in 2011. After the breakup, Mel began seeing Oksana Grigorieva, a Russian pianist. Together, they welcomed Lucia into their lives in 2009.
As of 2014, Mel is happily dating former champion equestrian vaulter Rosalind Ross. On January 20 of this year, Mel informed the world that the couple had welcomed Mel’s ninth child, Lars.
In 2006, Hannah married Kenny Wayne Shepherd, who is a singer and a songwriter.
Edward and Christian were born in 1982 and are twins.
Christian acted in his dad’s movie, We Were Soldiers. Christian is now an artist whose landscape photographs can be seen in several Malibu galleries.
Not much is known about William, but he sure does look like his dad. 
Louis really likes to be out of the spotlight. Only a photo of him as a child has surfaced on the internet.
Milo was a football player before deciding to go into show business.
He was in Hacksaw Ridge and has three movies coming out this year.
Thomas was born in 1999 and turned 10 years old the day after his mom and dad filed for divorce. But Mel and Robyn were committed to keeping Thomas out of the public eye during this time. 
Lucia was born in 2009 and is absolutely adorable.
Lars is the youngest member of the Gibson family. He was born January 20, 2017. No photos have been released, but I bet he’s cute.
