This girl is Carmen, and she is a real hero. One day Carmen with her boyfriend came to a restaurant. When they were waiting for their ordered meal, the girl noticed a homeless woman who was politely asking customers for some leftovers. Everybody at the restaurant just ignored her and pretended not to see her. Carmen wanted to give her meal, but by then the lady disappeared.
When the couple was going to leave the restaurant, they heard that someone was asking them for some leftovers. And yes, it was the same old woman.
Without hesitation, Carmen gave the woman the leftovers of her meal, but she felt that she needed to do more. So, the girl bought the homeless lady a complete meal and asked the staff allow the woman to stay in the restaurant. The old woman was very thankful, she hugged the girl and started to cry.
The girl wrote on her Facebook page: “That hug she gave me was like a hug I had never felt… those tears she shed were felt deep in my heart. I held her tight and let her let it out. I wasn’t repulsed by it. I just held her. And that is a moment I will never ever forget. So next time you judge a homeless person, think twice… not all of them are homeless because of a drug addiction or because they are lazy.”
Her boyfriend took this picture and posted it online. The couple wanted to show that a small gesture can bring a lot of happiness to one person.
