If you’re anywhere near NYC like we are, you’re likely dealing with some blustering blizzard weather including snow, rain, sleet, and even thunder!
Occasionally, nature decides to get extreme and we have to prepare for what could come by grabbing our groceries, closing shop, and bundling up inside until it blows over.
While there are some things that you should never do during a storm, everyone deals with them a little differently — some are content staying inside for the entire day, and others can’t wait to venture outside and see the streets, curbs, and cars completely covered in inches of snow.
But nothing that I see outside even comes close to what happened to this one home in Lake Ontario, New York.
It looks like something out of a fairy tale: thick sheets of ice cover the entire house, punctuated with spiky icicles.
It belongs to news anchor John Kucko, who credits the 14-degree weather and bone-rattling windchill for the frozen transformation.
He explains that the weather drastically changed from a week ago: “It was mild and this was not here.”
What’s more is that none of the other homes on the block got the same icy exterior due to retaining walls, which means his is the only igloo in the area.
John shared photos online, and they’ve obviously gotten plenty of attention and disbelieving remarks — how could a whole house get so covered in ice?
Check out them out for yourself, and don’t forget to SHARE with friends and family on Facebook.
