At times, waiting for dinner kicks in a case of extreme boredom. This seems to be the case for a Husky named Maya, who started playing in her water bowl while her owner, Kent Duryée of Brooklyn Park, Minn., spent some time at the grill. Clearly, Maya needed entertainment more than she needed a drink.
«I was smoking a couple of baby back racks while Maya Duryée softly blew bubbles in her water dish,» Duryée said on his Facebook page. «Pearson doesn’t get the whole bubble thing, but he’s keenly interested in the ribs.» To date, 6 million viewed the Facebook video, while 50,000 liked and almost 20,000 shared the post.
Duryée made a point to call out that the dogs are Siberian Huskies, not Malamutes. According to Pet Care Facts, while the larger Malamutes may look similar, Huskies tend to be more active, high-energy and curious. That said, Maya simply represents her breed’s curiosity well with her underwater exploration.
