If you happen to spot a brown patch of grass — it’ll look like the grass is dead — in your yard, there may be baby rabbits nesting there.
Although the urge to touch them or let your children see them may be tempting, you’ll see in the video below why that’s not what you should do!
Ontario Wildlife Removal Inc. suggests that the best thing to do is leave the bunnies where they are, as their mom isn’t far away. It’s important to pay special attention to the area when mowing the grass or playing in the yard with pets and children as you don’t want to disturb the cute little critters.
“The mother rabbit will only come back once, maybe twice a day,” Jared from Ontario Wildlife Removal Inc. says. “Please just let them be.”
If you’re worried about the baby rabbits, they’ll be hopping away in a few short weeks.
