Kris Jenner Reveals How Much The Kardashian Family Each Get Paid

bez-imeni-1

Now there are plenty of things we would all like to know about the Kardashians, AKA the family who earn money simply for inviting cameras into their lives to document their every move.

With the constant speculations flying round as to which members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan are pregnant, we have become fascinated by them more than ever before.

Gossip truly does make the world go around, even if it is based on something as ordinary as having kids.

1

And we can claim to despise the endless stream of headlines that the family generate on an almost daily basis, but let’s face it, we love hearing about them.

We are fascinated by the way in which this media-savvy bunch have turned their family into a multi-million dollar empire.

But have you ever wondered how their lucrative paycheck is divided? Is it divided equally? Is it shared out based on how much screen time each family member gets?

2

Well, when Kris Jenner appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week, she delved into just that.

While Ellen was desperate to get an exclusive out of the controversial “momager”, Kris refrained from answering any questions on which of her daughters is or isn’t expecting a child.

3
However, in true entrepreneurial spirit, she was perfectly willing to discuss not only how much her family is worth but how she divides their paycheck between her kids.

4

The bizarre thing is ratings have been far from impressive for a while now, still there’s no denying that people love hearing any kind of gossip in relation to the family.

5

After a decade of proving that their family is the goldmine that just keeps on giving, E!, the network which airs Keeping Up With The Kardashians re-signed the family until 2020 for an eye-watering sum of money.

As of the fall, the family are earning $30 million a season for five seasons totalling a whopping $150 million! It’s a definite step up from their 2015 contract which promised them $100 million for five seasons.

1

Now you may or may not be aware of this but the family are not paid individually, but in fact, they earn a lump sum on their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The onus is on them to divide the money between themselves.

But considering the family has only recently signed this incredible $150 million contract, you can imagine how much pressure it must be deciding how to split the money in a way that is fair but also well-deserved.

2

The conversation turned to money when Ellen asked if Kris (considering she is the executive producer of KUWTK) is the one responsible for deciding how the money is shared between each of the family members.

“Well, not exactly, no,” Kris replied. “It’s kind of a group decision.”

“I’m lucky if I get paid by the time the girls get finished with me,” she added in jest.

3

But then Kris interestingly revealed that every member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan essentially benefits equally from the $150 million payout:

“Everybody gets paid pretty much equally, ’cause we all film a lot and we all work hard, and we’ve created this show and this brand for the last decade… Everybody’s happy.”

So that’s a cool $25 million each!

So there you have it – the family members each get their fair share of the astonishing salary offered by E! There could have been a million other ways to split the money: Kim could have received the most pay considering she’s Kim K (the famous one), or the pregnant sisters could perhaps have been given a bonus for extra child support. But no, their family fortune is being shared fair and square.

Good for them!

The Kardashian clan and big bucks go hand in hand. The family are constantly finding new ways to revamp their empire. And guess what – if Kim, Kylie and Khloe are all pregnant as reported, it could leave them with more dough than ever before:
