The mother and her baby were kept in different enclosures for safety reasons, but today the zoo introduces the month-old cub to her excited mama.
No doubt, the bond between a mom and her baby is one of the strongest relationships ever. And don’t think that only humans are overcome with emotions when it comes to their offspring — this applies to the animal kingdom as well. For Yuan Yuan and her one-month-old cub Yuan Zai it’s no different, too. After you witness their first meeting since Yuan Zai’s birth, you won’t be able to hold your ‘awwww’.
This panda family was separated for a whole month, without a possibility to see each other. That measure was taken after the cub got a minor leg injury and had to undergo a recovery process, staying in an incubator. But now all hardship is over, and Yuan Yuan can finally see and touch as much of her baby girl as she wants.
Luckily, all panda lovers can be at peace as this mother and daughter have been reunited for good.
