When people of the world saw these pictures, they were shaken to the core! These exhausted surgeons were lying on the floor after the complex operation they had performed for 32 hours.
“We didn’t have another chance to perform the operation. This complex surgery had to be done in one day. We had to perform six procedures to remove a couple of tumors,” said Doctor Chan. “It was not easy. When we removed one tumor, there was the hazard to damage the other one. And it would mean the fatal outcome for our patient. We could not let it happen!”
The operation lasted 32 hours. During the surgery, the doctors could rest only 2 hours. When it was over, the surgeons were very exhausted. They didn’t have the energy to leave the operation room. The doctors fell on the floor.
