It would seem that kids these days just have no respect for their teachers.
Back in high school, I can remember when my English teacher took a week off work because her cat had died over the weekend. Needless to say, the class found this out and when she returned the following Monday she was greeted by a drawing of a dead cat on the whiteboard.
She took another two weeks off after that.
You see, once a teacher shows weakness they will NEVER be able to live it down. High school students are like sharks; once they smell blood in the water, they become incensed and just won’t stop until they’ve destroyed their prey.
Now, recent cell phone footage has emerged of a young male student getting into a physical altercation with a female teacher.
Of course, we don’t condone physical violence in any way – especially between students and teachers – but something tells me this teacher is over-reacting just a smidge.
The video opens with the pair yelling at each other, at which point, the teacher grabs hold of her pupil, only for him to throw her down to the ground.
To be fair to the student, the teacher does grab him first, and then she proceeds to overreact in a way that makes me think she’s probably a nightmare to deal with on a day-to-day basis.
Either way, her performance has already had viewers calling for an Oscar nod at the 2018 Academy Awards.
