Unfortunately, there are so many homeless animals who live either in shelters or on the streets waiting for the loving family. They feel themselves abandoned and needless as there is nobody in the world with whom they can play or just spend time. On the other hand, many people consider such animals not attractive and don’t pay attention to them while choosing new pets.
Grace Chon is a photographer who specializes in animals. She decided to launch a new project, called “Hairy,” in order to show the world that all dogs are beautiful. Grace’s goal is to change people’s perception of those dogs who look not so pretty as they could.
She photographed them before and after the grooming, and the result went beyond all expectations. Grace says that usually, dogs look like two completely different animals in each photo as the haircut gives them more confidence and changes their personalities. It proves that all animals are cute and charming, and sometimes, all they need is a little care.
The video below shows the case when the haircut completely changed the life of a dog. Charlie was a homeless dog living in a shelter. Previously, she was found on the side of the road and had probably had a horrible life experience. The staff of the shelter decided to get Charlie a haircut and make her look beautiful.
The result is unbelievable! It is hard to believe that it’s the same dog. This story also has a happy end as two days later, Charlie was adopted and got a new loving family. The grooming changed her life, and now, she has a forever home.
