Kathy Cadle and Rachel Smith have a very particular job. These sisters dedicate themselves to make dolls identical to human babies. It is a family tradition that has gained strength through replicas to help treat patients with several disorders. However, Kathy was surprised by the police from Sheffield Lake, Ohio, at her door.
Kathy was at home when she was visited by a police officer, who, according to information released by the press, told the woman the following: “There is a report saying you are selling babies.”
So she showed the policeman one of her dolls to explain that it was all a misunderstanding.
The dolls are made of vinyl and their manufacture is a family tradition that is still alive thanks to Kathy and Rachel.
The company is called Bunny Bundles Reborns. In addition to this incident with the police, it received media attention for the use of dolls in therapies of patients suffering from dementia, anxiety, and Alzheimer’s disease.
They really look real! Impressive!
