This teenager has a love for music that surprises most. Not many knew about his talent until he entered his school’s talent show and blew everyone away.

In the video that has been shared on social media by his parents, one can see why his talent has gotten him a demo CD offer.

The sophomore loves music and dreams of one day recording an album in Nashville. A representative for Watson and his family revealed the young man’s inspiring story after his talent show debut.

Watson suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which the Muscular Dystrophy Association website describes as ‘a genetic disease affecting the part of the nervous system that controls voluntary muscle movement.’

The representative shared that Watson’s condition had prevented his muscle movement as he grew older. Now he is unable to walk and is bound to his wheelchair.

“I thought this was going to be an ordinary performance for me, but it turned out that this performance is changing my life.”

Jared Watson, Country Music Family But that hasn’t stopped the teenager from achieving his dreams. In addition to pursuing a career in Nashville, Watson has dreams of being an announcer for voice-overs and radio.

The sophomore took his first step toward sharing his vocal talent with the world when he entered his school’s talent show. His father supported him on guitar as the boy started singing I Told You So.

A song made famous by Randy Travis and later Carrie Underwood. What people didn’t expect was to hear that his voice is strong and powerful, and his range is impressive.

The boy has real talent and he could even hit the lowest of low notes and the highest of high notes with ease. It’s quite obvious from his performance that he loves music and that moment meant a lot to him.

Watson ended up winning third place at his school talent show, and couldn’t have been happier. His performance kept changing his life long after the talent show had ended.

Watson’s parents shared a video of his performance on Facebook, and it has since generated countless of views. Now, the talented sophomore has been invited to sing on a local TV broadcast and has also been offered the chance to record a demo CD.
