Scotty McCreery is joined by other stars to sing ‘Angels Among Us’ to help a special cause close to everyone’s hearts

«Angels Among Us» was originally written by Alabama and released as a country Christmas song but it has recently had new life breathed into it and we love the reason why! Radio Disney and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital recently got together for a very good cause. They enlisted the help of a couple of popular country artists to do a cover of the song.

With superstars like Brennley Brown, Carly Pearce, Hunter Hayes, Scotty McCreery, Tegan Marie, CB£), Lucy Hale, RaeLynn, Sara Evans and Temecula Road, the song was bound to be a success. But, it is the beautiful lyrics that reach out to comfort those in need that really strikes a chord.

St. Jude went one step further and made some children’s dreams come true by taking them on an outing to the studio! The children got to meet the artists and spend the whole day watching them record, listening through headphones and playing with the sound equipment — a dream come true!

St. Judes is dedicating to helping children and defeating childhood cancer once and for all! Since its opening, it has managed to push the childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80%.

Combined with dedicated companies such as Disney, talented artists, and a generous community, they truly hope to make a difference. Isn’t it amazing what we can do when we all get together!

The brand new version was played on Radio Disney and reached out to listeners asking them to help raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer. It was incredibly successful and due to the popularity of the song, Disney managed to donate $25,000 to St. Jude! Isn’t that awesome!
