Natalie Hage is a plus-sized model from Denton, Texas. Recently, she was sitting on an American Airlines flight heading to Los Angeles for a photo shoot.
During the flight, Natalie noticed the man sitting next to her texting someone about her weight. He said he was leaving a “neck mark on the window” since she was taking up too much room and that she looked like she’d “eaten a Mexican.”
But as the plane taxied to the gate, Natalie took out her own phone and confronted him, right then and there. “He tried lying, but when I started quoting him, he knew I was for real,” Natalie wrote on Facebook.
“Do you normally make fun of fat people? Is that something that you like to do?” she asked him.
But then the man, who had quickly apologized and blamed his behavior on his “drinking,” doubled down on his insults in the most hurtful way.
