Simon Cowell has been the music mogul for years. His terse critique on various shows has built him a reputation. However, his son’s appearance on his show made fans go gaga.
As reported by Digital Spy, Cowell’s 3-year-old son, Eric, gave a quick introduction to the quarter-final episode of the X-Factor on 18 November 2017.
Eric was seen sitting on Cowell’s lap in a striped shirt as he took over from the show’s voiceover artist, Peter Dickson, to deliver the famous X-Factor catchphrase, «It’s time, to face, the music.»
Eric is the child of 58-year-old Simon Cowell and his girlfriend, 40-year-old Lauren Silverman.
As Eric spoke into the microphone, all Cowell could do is smile with pride as his son seized his moment in show business.
Several fans on the internet believed that Eric completely stole the show with his bit. Many fans took to social media to express their feelings that Eric’s cuteness induced in them.
One user declared Eric to be the winner of this season of X-Factor while another user predicted that Eric would even steal host Dermot O’Leary’s job.
Eric was seen on his father’s shows before as well. He stole the show on X-Factor’s Six Chair Challenge in October and also took over Cowell’s buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent in April.
«I’m Daddy’s job now!»

It wasn’t the only TV-time Eric got on the show. The Irish brothers, Sean and Conor Price, spent their pre-performance videotape by asking people about their loved ones. The duo went to Cowell to ask the same question when he was with Eric.
The brothers asked Cowell to choose who he loved more, Sean or Conor. Cowell found it difficult to choose between them. So they asked him who he loved the most. He simply pointed at Eric and replied, «He’s the boss.»
Meanwhile, Sam Black and Sean & Conor Price were eliminated from ITV’s X-Factor competition in its first double-elimination. Rak-su were titled the winners of the episode.
