Life works in very mysterious ways. Sometimes things that appear to be absolute certainties end up breaking the rules.
Like Justin Smith.
Justin was walking home in a rough winter storm but never made it. he spent 10 hours exposed outside. Paramedics who arrived at the scene had no reason that he still had a chance for survival. His body was frozen solid and there appeared to be no pulse.
But, one doctor refused to accept what everyone else thought was an inevitable conclusion. He ordered the medical team to perform CPR while a machine warmed and oxygenated Justin’s blood.
Finally…a miracle. There was a pulse. Then they had to wait to see if his other organs would recover. 12 days passed, and finally, the Smith family saw him open his eyes.
