According to the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, which was thought to hold the secret to perfect beauty, apparently actor George Clooney is ‘the most beautiful man in the world’.
Using digital face mapping, Dr Julian De Silva carried out an experiment to see which of Hollywood’s dreamiest stars fir the ‘golden ratio’ of 1.618 – considered the height of beauty in Ancient Greece.
The Harley Street plastic surgeon analysed eight measures of actors’ faces including the positioning of the lips, nose, eyes, eyebrows, chin and forehead.
Based on the ‘Golden Ratio’, actor George Clooney’s face was found to have almost perfect dimensions. The new father of two, married to human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, is apparently the closest to perfection. His facial shape and feature scored 91.86% on the test.
‘Silver Linings Playbook’ actor Bradley Cooper came a close second. The 42-year-old Oscar winning received a score of 91.8%.
Based on the same formula, De Silva also released the ‘top 10’ most attractive male famous faces. Featured on the list were actors Brad Pitt and Ryan Gosling, as well as infamously good looking former footballer David Beckham.
