This man captured an incredible video of a flash flow in southern Utah. The clip was made about six hours after heavy rain fell and 40 miles away from this place.
The flow carries the branches and trucks downstream. The floods begin when the water flows down, collecting different objects along the way. It can be trees, branches, and rocks. Then the flows transform into something terrible. They can sweep everything out of its path. This natural phenomenon shows the power of our nature. It is terrifying, right? I have never seen anything like this before.
These flows can be even more dangerous than they look. So, if you are going to hike, you need to be careful. The rain that causes the floods could be far away as the flow started. You may just not notice anything strange.
