Strange are the ways of God but He always leads us to the path best suited for us. This is especially true for a musician Jeff Gutt. Even though he started playing the guitar when he was only six, he did not begin singing until he was in high school. Yet, due to various personal events that took most of his time and effort, he had to abandon music, his love and drive in life.
Nevertheless, not all was lost; it just took some time and patience. Thus, when his son was born, Jeff got back to music which led him to the popular TV show “The X Factor.” At the show, he was given a task of performing “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen.
Since its release in 1984, the song has had many interpretations by famous and not-so-famous singers. Yet, Jeff decided to give it a different twist, which not only got the audience to shed tears, but moved all the members of the panel. They were more than happy to hear him sing again.
