Rodrigo Alves, more commonly known as the ‘Human Ken Doll’ has reportedly undergone more than fifty surgeries and has plans of going under the knife many more times. In a recent Instagram post, he decided to show his followers how he looked like before all the surgery. It has been estimated that Rodrigo has spent more than half a million dollars for cosmetic surgery.
The 34-year-old is reportedly on a journey to reach ‘perfection.’
He has undergone 58 operations since 2000 and his first time going under the knife was at the age of 17.
Some treatments that Rodrigo has undergone include three nose jobs, various liposuction treatments and cheek and chin reconstruction.
He says that he was diagnosed with Body Dysmorphic Disorder which is an illness that causes one to have an unhealthy and distorted view of their own body.
In an interview, he said: ‘after one year of treatment, the doctors agreed that I was perfectly sane but that I just had a mirror image issue. I can only describe it as having a feeling that I was born in the wrong body.’
He said that getting bullied in school while having to deal with his parent’s divorce caused him to spiral into a depression.
‘My first plastic surgery was at the age of 17 when I was diagnosed with gynecomastia, the growth of male breast and chest tissue – I had an operation to remove the excess tissue. I knew then plastic surgery was available, but I was far too young for having all that I wanted done which was to reinvent myself.’ Now, he is on the look for the ‘best surgeons’ around the world and has hopes of looking the way he wants to.
‘I was born in the wrong body and I have spent my entire life trying to reveal the real me. Now I’ve achieved my dream face and body I plan to stop the aging process using stem cell technology. I’ve already had lots of them injected into my face, scalp, and bloodstream.’
He continued: ‘My aim is to always look ageless and maintain my unique looks, after all, there is no other man or another Rodrigo Alves that looks like me. I get a lot of attention due to my artificial looks – but I finally love myself and that is the most important thing of all.’
Despite the numerous surgeries and operations that Rodrigo has undergone, he still wanted to show his followers and fans how he looked like before ever going under the knife.
