Demian Aditya isn’t your traditional illusionist and escape artist. He likes to play with fear and use it to his advantage.
When he arrived for “Judge Cuts” on America’s Got Talent, he decided to try out a stunt that left everyone on the edge of their seats.
In the video below, posted on July 18, 2017, Demian moves the judges outside to watch his attempt at a deadly performance. He holds onto his nervous wife as he prepares to be buried alive by four men.
He lies down inside a wooden box with chains coiled around his body. He has a video recording his escape from the inside so the crowd outside can see, but suddenly, the screen turns black.
It all becomes too much for his wife. She runs to the hole in which he is being buried alive and screams, “Get him out!”
The judges feel uneasy, so Simon walks closer and urges the four men to stop, but they continue to bury Demian in the dirt.
All of a sudden, Simon looks up and realizes just how good Demian is. He and the other judges stare in shock as one of the burial men lowers his mask to reveal his face. It’s Demian.
Nobody knows how, but Demian escaped being buried alive and managed to make his way into the crowd!
