When a child goes missing, it’s often the people closest to them who can help bring them back home. In the case of 4-year-old Yvette, the opposite was true.

According to Inside Edition, Yvette’s grandparents, who live in California, were awarded legal custody of the toddler, but her father had other ideas. He took Yvette from her grandparents and ran with her to Arizona.

No one could find them.

That is, until 21-year-old Harry stepped in. Harry is from Surrey, England — thousands of miles away from Yvette and her family. But he was able to help bring her home when nobody else could.

Harry had met Yvette’s father years ago, when they played an online video game together. Yvette’s father trusted Harry, so the 21-year-old was able to reach out to him.

Harry talked to Yvette’s father like an old friend. Then, he managed to get him to say where he was staying: a hotel in Arizona. Then, Harry used a little bit of trickery to get him to give up the hotel room number so police could bring Yvette home.

Now, the 4-year-old is safe at home with her grandparents — thanks to a young adult thousands of miles away.

Check out the video below to see the creative way Harry got Yvette’s father to give up such crucial information, and please Liked Video this amazing story on Facebook!
