Carol Howarth from Great Britain left her car in the supermarket parking lot and went shopping. When the woman came back, she thought she ended up in a fantasy movie – a huge bee swarm clung to the back of her car! Tom Moses witnessed the shocking scene. “An unforgettable sight!” he resembles. “I was passing by and suddenly I saw a big brown blot on the car. People were stopping just to take a picture of it!”
“I was afraid of one thing,” the man says. “The car was parked in front of the bar, and some drunkard could go out, throw something at the bees, and then, end up in the hospital.”
Without thinking twice, Tom called a group of beekeepers who quickly managed to lure the insects into the box.
However, the bee clan refused to give up. “The next day they chased my car to the very house!” said Carol, the car owner. She had to call the beekeepers again.
“It turned out that their “queen” was attracted by something sweet in the trunk, but then, she just got stuck there,” explained Roger Burns, one of the beekeepers. “After that, the whole swarm (about 20,000 bees) followed her.”
“Bees always follow their queen, this is normal,” Roger added. “But they didn’t give up, they tried to save her for two days! It’s just amazing!”
