A good scare or shock once in a while has been proven to be beneficial to your health. Going to a haunted house or trick-or-treating not only provides great social benefits, but it can also be good for your body. When you get scared and you know that there is no real sense of danger, there is a surge of chemicals including dopamine and adrenaline. This rise and subsequent fall in brain chemicals will lead to a feeling of relaxation after.

1. No matter what game they are at, it seems like the couple on the top are playing a totally different ball game. (What base is that?)
2. As the new year rolls along, everyone becomes a little more conscious of their health and their weight. So we start going to the gym, eating salads, and watching our caloric intake. But a little look into that bag of salad will reveal some calories that we didn’t ask for…in the shape of a frog.
3. I mean, don’t we all get a little Exorcist sometimes and grab a can of root beer backwards? Right?
4. Did this girl back into someone because she was taking a selfie or is he just trying to scare her? Either way…creepy. 
5. This picture doesn’t require a lot of looking to find out what’s scary about it. Is that a twin? Or is that Photoshop? I’m going to go with them being twins, but it’s not hard to tell who’s the evil one and who’s the angel.
6. Couples love to take cute vacation photos, whether as a memory or to flaunt on social media. But why is that guy holding onto a rugby ball? And why is she holding onto his?
7. Everyone enjoys a cuddle buddy or a nice head rub to ease into a deep REM sleep, but does it still count if the hand is connected to a mannequin? Or lack of a mannequin?
9. When you’re tired of roaming the seas, fighting off armed sailors and pillaging for buried treasure, you go see a baseball game. But, c’mon Jack Sparrow, at least get off your phone!
10. As kids we love to ride in the shopping cart, but 2 minutes later we decide we want to walk around the store, then back into the cart, then run around once more. Parents who are focusing on fulfilling their grocery lists are too busy shoving things into the cart to realize their kid is getting the Tetris treatment. By the way, that’s an awful lot of soda…
11. The funniest thing about this picture is that the army veteran brought the heels to work in order to wear them back home when his shift was over. I wonder what he had planned that night?
12. I always thought kangaroos were the only ones who carried their young in their pouches, but I guess owls do too.
13. When you’re out flexing with the “homies” on social media and Chucky the doll from hell decides he wants to hang out too.
14. As children, we all have fears of getting chased down the stairs. If we’re the last person upstairs, we take a deep breath, gather ourselves, flick off the lights, and dart down the stairs to the safety of our parents. But I guess now there’s a reason to be scared going UP the stairs as well. (Those glowing eyes to the left really give her away though…)
15. We’ve all been invited to one too many dates with couples when we are single. “Oh it’s fine,” they always say. But what better way to get back at them than to ruin their PDA.

18. At first glance this picture looks like nothing more than a quiet family dinner. But a look across the window will reveal an elderly lady who is not present in that chair. I guess that explains why they’re so quiet.
19. After a long day at work everyone just wants to throw themselves onto a sofa, lounge about and just relax. But not if Chucky is waiting for you under one of those cushions.
20. Is this lucky guy marrying a female centaur or is she just his bride riding a white horse? You tell me!
21. At first glance, one would think that this was a person submerged under a bubble bath looking straight into the camera. But upon further inspection, you will realize that it’s simply a sink draining out the water with the soap bubbles in it!
22. Who doesn’t love ice cream? Especially on a beautiful day like that. But it’s certainly not cool when your ice cream can just decide to wisp away like that.
23. Who’s holding who in this picture? Take a look. At first you’d think the girl on the far right is being held up, but it’s actually the girl with the sash around her that is being carried!
24. My whole life I have thought that the Pegasus doesn’t exist. Now I know what I want as my very first pet.
