3-Year-Old’s Mom Won’t Say Hi To Her, So She Grabs The Phone And Asks Police To ‘Come Over’

bez-imeni-1

Every day, 911 operators receive countless calls, but one call from a particular little girl really stood out on February 4, 2017.

A 3-year-old from Brick, New Jersey, picked up the phone and dialed 911 from inside her home. The operator definitely didn’t expect the phrasing of this next request.

In the video below, posted on February 22, 2017, the little girl explains to the operator, “My mommy is not saying hello.”

The man on the other end of the line tries to understand her and asks, “She’s what?”

“She’s not saying hi,” the puzzled 3-year-old replies.

The operator digests the situation and asks her, “Is your mommy awake?”

The young daughter responds, “No, she’s closing her eyes.”

Her mom is unresponsive and passing out. Luckily, the young daughter knows what to do next.

She asks for help in a way that most operators aren’t used to hearing. During the phone call, she asks the man, “Could you come over?”

He seems a bit thrown off by the question, quickly realizing she wants an officer sent to her home. “I’ll try to have one of my friends come over and help you,” he tells her.

The emergency phone call lasted for five minutes and the authorities were able to trace the location of the little girl. They ended up at the wrong address at first, but shuffled to the girl and her mother’s side just in time.
