A Plane Circles Stadium With Message For Anthem Protestors, Has Proud Americans Cheering

As more and more NFL players continue to either take a knee or completely sit out the national anthem at the pregame ceremony, football fans are growing irate. While most people agree that the players deserve an opportunity to express their first amendment right to protest police brutality and racial injustice in the country, people just don’t want them doing it during the game. While the protest method is gaining a lot of notice across the country, football fans tune in to games in order to tune out from other parts of their lives. Football is supposed to be a source of entertainment that allows people to forget about the troubles in their daily lives and the struggles of the United States. But the players who kneel are forcing America to recognize their protest.

The NFL has taken a huge financial hit because their players are taking a knee during the national anthem. Not only do veterans and members of the United States military feel the NFL is slighting them, fans are siding with patriotism and the military. Ticket sales have gone down and the NFL is losing thousands of fans every week.

Although the commissioner did say some strong words about how the NFL feels about the people kneeling during the Star Spangled Banner, the NFL has done nothing to stop the players from protesting. This has forced the public to take action against the players who are changing the game they love.

This past Sunday, a plane circled Green Bay Packers’ Lambeau Field. It carried a massive banner behind it that read something that President Trump would love.

Question of the week: If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be?

The sign flying through the sky read:

“Real men and NFL owners should stand for our country!”

If everyday citizens are taking a stand against the protests, it is time for the NFL team owners to address the situation and find a way to remedy the situation that works for both the fans and the players.

President Trump has tweeted a lot about the protests. And he would love the plane banner if he saw it.

“Sports fans should never condone players that do not stand proud for their National Anthem or their Country. NFL should change policy!” Trump tweeted at the end of September.

The next day he added, “The issue of kneeling has nothing to do with race. It is about respect for our Country. Flag and National Anthem. NFL must respect this!”

Although the president is calling for the NFL to take action against the players protesting the anthem, the NFL and team owners have failed to change anything. More players keep kneeling for the anthem every week and the football fanbase is growing more upset.

Although the NFL is not standing up for the anthem, fans are using their hard-earned money to make sure people know how they feel. Whoever paid for the plane spent a lot to get the message out to the NFL. Additionally, the farmer who mowed his lawn to encourage players to stand got some recognition from the president.
